Arkham freeflow counters, a Fear meter and Batarangs, fought inside Elden Ring. Solo.
Fight the Lands Between the way you fight Gotham's worst: read the room, wait for the strike, and make it yours.
This is a native DLL that ModEngine2 loads into Elden Ring. It changes no game files and ships no content from either game: the Arkham Knight text you see ("THROW COUNTER", "FEAR MULTI-TAKEDOWN" and its own tutorial lines) is read out of your own installed copy of Batman: Arkham Knight at runtime.
Freeflow counters. When an enemy in front of you telegraphs an attack, a window opens. Press Counter in that window and you deflect the blow, stagger the attacker, and take a chunk of its health. This is the part built for Elden Ring's crowds: the window gets longer with every enemy attacking you at once, so being surrounded makes countering more forgiving, not impossible. Attacks from behind and attacks out of range are not counterable. You can also make the guard button fire it.
Fear. Counters and landed hits fill a Fear meter. Let it fill and unleash a Fear Takedown to drop the nearest enemies at once - humanoids, beasts and the undead alike. It decays when you stop fighting.
Batarang. A ranged hit on the nearest enemy that opens them up, on a short cooldown.
A HUD that shows the meter, the active cue, how many enemies are threatening you, and the companion game's own tutorial line for the situation.
| Key | Action |
| --- | --- |
| F1 | Counter (also fires on a guard press by default) |
| F2 | Batarang |
| F3 | Fear Takedown |
| F4 | Show/hide the HUD |
Settings live in %LOCALAPPDATA%\DarkKnightRings\settings.json, written with defaults on first launch: window length, reach, damage fraction, Fear rates, keybinds and HUD placement are all yours to tune.
Solo play only. Your saves are the normal ER0000.sl2; back them up before playing any modded Elden Ring, as always.
