Step into the Lands Between as Raiden. His model, blade, moves and the boss songs come straight from your own copy of METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE, so you need both games installed.
- Raiden's combos: light and heavy strings, Ninja Run slashes, air combos and the charged quick-draw, timed from Metal Gear Rising's own move data.
- Defensive Offense: dodge with a slash, in any direction.
- Parry: push toward an attack and press attack to clash, then counter.
- Blade Mode: time slows and you aim each cut. Your blue fuel-cell bar replaces FP.
- Zandatsu: slice a weakened enemy in Blade Mode to rip out its core and fully heal. It takes the place of your Flasks.
- Ripper Mode: fill the fuel bar and press Z (or both sticks) to glow red and deal double damage for 15 seconds.
- Boss songs: Elden Ring's boss fights play Metal Gear Rising's vocal boss themes (Sundowner, Monsoon, Mistral, Blade Wolf, Metal Gear RAY, Excelsus and Armstrong) instead of the usual music. Each boss always gets the same song.
Solo, offline. Press F8 to switch between Raiden and the Tarnished. Raiden's controls: left mouse/RB light, right mouse/RT heavy, Space/B dodge, Shift/hold B Ninja Run, Ctrl/LT Blade Mode.
