Mario 64 Survivor

Mario joins Risk of Rain 2 as a new survivor, and he plays exactly like Super Mario 64. His movement, animations, model and voice come straight from your own Super Mario 64 ROM through libsm64.

What you get

• Mario on the character select, idling live just like in SM64.
• His real moveset on every stage: triple jumps, long jumps, backflips, side flips, wall kicks, dives, slides and ground pounds.
• SM64 attacks deal Risk of Rain 2 damage:
  • punch-punch-kick combo: 240%
  • jump kick and dive: 300%
  • slide kick: 350%
  • stomp on an enemy's head and bounce off: 400%
  • ground pound, hitting everything around where you land: 600%
• Your items power him up. Damage items make every hit stronger, and on-hit items (Ukulele, Sticky Bomb, Tri-Tip and the rest) trigger from punches, kicks and stomps. Health, armor and healing work as for any survivor.
• Big hits knock Mario back, SM64-style.
• Single player.

Controls: move with WASD. A (jump) is Space, B (punch, kick, dive) is left mouse, and Z (crouch, ground pound) is right mouse or Shift.

You need Risk of Rain 2 and your own Super Mario 64 (US) ROM. Melty finds the ROM on your PC, installs BepInEx and builds libsm64 for you the first time you press Play.
