CS2 Operator

Play Risk of Rain 2 in first person as a Counter-Strike 2 Counter-Terrorist. Everything CS2 in this mashup comes from your own Counter-Strike 2 install: the SAS agent, the guns, their sounds, their icons and their numbers.

What you get

• A new survivor, the Operator. The CS2 SAS agent (body, gas mask, gloves), animated on Risk of Rain 2's Bandit rig. Your co-op friends see the full agent.
• First person like CS2, with CS2's own animations. You see the agent's gloves and sleeves holding the CS2 gun, moving with CS2's real first-person animations from your install: draw, idle, fire, reload, inspect (F), knife slash and grenade throw, with magazines, bolts and slides moving like in CS2. (Prefer RoR2's usual camera? Set [View] FirstPerson = false in BepInEx/config/melty.cs2operator.cfg.)
• Real CS2 guns with CS2's numbers. Damage, magazine, fire rate, reload time and recoil are read from CS2's weapon data on your PC.
  • Primary (pick in the lobby loadout): AK-47, M4A4 or P90 (full auto, CS2 magazine, CS2-style spray), or the AWP (bolt action, 5 rounds, one huge piercing shot per press).
  • Secondary (pick in the lobby loadout): Desert Eagle or USP-S, switched to like in CS2: press secondary (or 2, Q, the mouse wheel) to draw it and it fires on the primary button with CS2's magazine and reload; press again (or 1) to switch back. Each gun keeps its own ammo.
  • Utility: Knife Lunge. Dash forward with the CS2 knife, slashing everything in your path.
  • Special: HE Grenade. Bounces and explodes on CS2's fuse with CS2's blast radius.
• CS2 sounds and icons. Gunshots, reloads, knife and grenade sounds and CS2's inventory art, decoded from your CS2 files.
• Solo or co-op, up to 4 players through Risk of Rain 2's own Steam lobbies. Everyone needs the mashup and both games.

Needs

Risk of Rain 2 and Counter-Strike 2 on the same PC. CS2 is never launched or changed; the mashup only reads its files. On first Play, Melty converts the CS2 content it needs (about 20 seconds); nothing from either game is included in the download.
