Sonic’s original moves, repaired rendering and smoother small-step movement.
Private test build — not published.
Play offline Elden Ring as Sonic, using his model, textures, animations, sounds and voice from your own Sonic Adventure DX. Run fast, jump, spin dash and use a homing attack in the air. Defeated enemies drop rings; rings absorb hits, resting restores them, and bosses award more. Sonic Ring uses a separate save and keeps your normal save untouched.
This remix retains the corrected Sonic rendering from 0.1.5 and repairs foot-level collision that prevented small terrain steps from reaching the existing step-up handling. Original speed, acceleration, jump height, spin dash, homing attack and animation code are preserved. Walls, large obstacles, ceilings and falling remain enforced. A guard also protects against an invalid menu-text read found during testing.
Version 0.1.7 passed two three-minute Melty install-and-launch runs on Elden Ring 2.7.1.0, including the unchanged running-distance, model, jump, spin-dash and separate-save checks, with no crash or freeze. Controlled native movement tests cover 1–30 cm steps, repeated stairs, slopes, wall blocking at full speed, ceilings and cliffs. Outdoor terrain, enemy combat and long sessions have not been playtested for this version.
Requires Elden Ring 2.7.1 (supported builds 2.7.1.0–2.7.1.1) and Sonic Adventure DX on Steam. One-click setup reads assets from your own installed games; no game assets are included. Single player only.
