NewSonic Adventure DX's Sonic in the Lands Between: his own physics, spin dash, homing attack, rings and lives
About
Play Elden Ring as Sonic from Sonic Adventure DX, rebuilt from both games by reverse engineering them.
Sonic
- SADX's own physics, ported from sonic.exe: acceleration, slopes, jump and jump-hold, spin dash, roll, brake, homing attack and jump dash
- His real model, animations and welds, the DX spin ball, spin dash glow and dash trail, ring sparkle, skid dust and hit effects
- His SADX sound effects and death cry
In the Lands Between
- Collision on Elden Ring's own world (rocks, stairs, slopes, moving lifts)
- Homing attack and spin dash land as real Elden Ring hits: enemies flinch, stagger and die (humans in three homing attacks, animals in one)
- SADX rings and lives replace HP: get hit and your rings scatter; get hit with none and you lose a life
- Defeated enemies burst into rings; 100 rings is a 1UP
- SADX's death, then back to your last Site of Grace (no "YOU DIED", no runes lost)
- No fall damage; F10 puts you back on solid ground
Needs
- Elden Ring 2.7.1 and Sonic Adventure DX, both on Steam on Windows
- Sonic's model, textures, animations and sounds are read from your own copy of SADX the first time the game starts; nothing from SADX is included
- Offline single-player: ModEngine2 starts Elden Ring with Easy Anti-Cheat off
Controls: Space jump / homing attack, Shift spin dash, E interact, F10 respawn on solid ground, F9 Sonic off/on.
