Dying Light Adventure DX

Harran gets a lot faster. Dying Light Adventure DX puts Sonic and his friends into Dying Light, in third person, with their own models, animations, music and voices read from your own Sonic Adventure DX when Melty sets it up. Nothing from either game is in the download.

Six characters, and a secret

Tap Y / Triangle (or F7) to switch, or hold it for a character wheel.

• Sonic: SADX speed and jump, spin dash, roll, homing attack, and a stop-dead mid dash. Light Speed Attack at Agility 15.
• Tails: flies, tail attack, and a continuous spin at Survivor 12.
• Knuckles: glides, punch combo, fast climbing, and the Maximum Heat punch at Power 10.
• Amy: hammer, hammer somersault, and her spinning hammer at Survivor 18.
• E-102 Gamma: laser lock-on that sets enemies alight, hover, and a jet booster at Agility 10.
• Big: his rod swing.

Upgrades unlock from your save's own skill levels, announced with SADX's item jingle when you earn them. Tails, Knuckles and Amy can't be hurt mid-attack.

SADX sound

Stage music by time of day, chases, fights and area (Rais's garrison, the sewers, the final mission), character voices, and the full Open Your Heart over the credits.

Good to know

• Needs Dying Light and Sonic Adventure DX (Steam), both installed. Melty does the rest.
• Single player. Keyboard, Xbox-style and PlayStation pads.
• F8 puts you back to the character if anything ever turns you into Crane.
