Three Nights

Three Nights turns Dying Light: The Beast into three games' nights.

Every time you press Play, tonight's city changes — Harran (Dying Light, 2015), Villedor (Dying Light 2 Stay Human, 2022) or Castor Woods (The Beast's own). Tonight's city's real night rules are read out of your own installed copy of that game and written into The Beast before it starts. Nothing from those games is copied into this mod: it reads them where they already are.

What changes tonight:

• When night truly begins. Harran's night phase starts at 22:00 and lets go at 05:00 — Dying Light 1's own daytime table. Villedor's starts at 20:30 (Dying Light 2's own value). Castor's stays The Beast's own 19:36.
• What the dark is worth. Villedor's night pays Dying Light 2's own +50% experience, plus its +30% chase bonus. Castor's pays nothing, exactly as The Beast ships it. Harran has no multiplier — Dying Light 1 paid flat awards instead.
• The award table the night runs on is tonight's city's own: Dying Light 1's (30 for a night kill, 3 a second for surviving the dark, 100 for making it through the night, and its night-kill HUD message), Dying Light 2's own, or The Beast's own untouched.

Cycle the cities by playing again, or hold down the rotation by launching with a city. Solo. Works on the three games you already own; no loader to install.

The first launch after installing, The Beast shows its own notice that the game appears to be using modified data — that is the game noticing this mod's data pack, as it does for any data mod. Press OK and play; nothing is corrupted.
