Skyborne Thunder

War Thunder fighters and tanks in Skyrim. You play in Skyrim, and its War Thunder fighter and tank read their real vehicles, engines, guns and shells from your own installed copy of War Thunder while you play. War Thunder itself is never launched or modded, so there is no BattlEye exposure and no account risk.

How to play

Escape Helgen, reach Whiterun, and buy a WT Flight Warrant from Lucan Valerius at the Riverwood Trader, or a WT Tank Key from Adrianne Avenicci at Warmaiden's. Use it to summon a War Thunder fighter at the stables or drive a War Thunder tank out of the gate, then strafe or shell a giant camp outside the city. Reload with R and fire with left mouse while a vehicle is active; V toggles a vehicle and C cycles fighter/tank.

What is real

Every vehicle stat, engine roar, cannon blast and shell flight comes from files in your own War Thunder install (passed by Melty as {game:war-thunder}). Nothing from War Thunder is copied into this package or into Skyrim, and every player brings their own War Thunder files.

Install and first launch

Melty installs Ultimate ASI Loader into Skyrim Special Edition automatically. You need Skyrim Special Edition and War Thunder installed on the same PC. On first Play, Melty installs the files, sets the War Thunder folder in your Skyrim settings, and starts Skyrim; check SkyborneThunder.log next to SkyrimSE.exe to verify the ASI loaded.

Solo

Solo play only; no multiplayer.
