Fight through Skyrim the Sekiro way: deflect, break posture, land deathblows, die twice, grapple and use your shinobi prosthetic tools. You play all of Skyrim Special Edition. Sekiro brings its combat rules, its enemy stats and its sounds, all read from your own Sekiro install while you play.
What you get
Deflect. Raise your guard just as a hit lands to deflect it. The hit does no damage, you hear Sekiro's steel clash, and the attacker's posture takes a beating.
Posture and guard break. Every enemy has a Sekiro posture bar. It fills when you hit it, block it or deflect it, and it refills more slowly the more wounded the enemy is. Your own posture fills while you guard. Fill it all the way and your guard breaks.
Real Sekiro numbers. Each kind of Skyrim enemy fights like a Sekiro counterpart, with posture and recovery taken from that counterpart's stats in your Sekiro:
Bandits fight like Ashina soldiers, and high-level foes like a Samurai General.
Draugr fight like Drowned warriors, and wolves like Ashina dogs.
Bears and sabre cats fight like the Blazing Bull, and giants like the Chained Ogre.
Trolls and dragons fight like the Guardian Ape.
Dragon priests fight like Isshin, the Sword Saint.
Deathblows. Break an enemy's posture and the red deathblow mark appears. Your next hit is a deathblow, with a moment of slow motion. A deathblow takes 40% of the enemy's health, so most foes need two or three. Wolves, dogs and spiders die to one. Sneak deathblows on unaware enemies kill outright, except the big ones.
Lighter stamina. All combat stamina costs are 30% lower: attacks, power attacks, blocking, bashing and bow zoom.
Die twice. When you would die, you fall instead. Enemies think you're dead and turn away, and a few seconds later you rise again. Resurrection comes back when you sleep or wait, or after five kills.
Grappling hook. Press Jump again in mid-air. A green marker shows where the hook will catch. The rope flies out, and you swing up to the hook on a smooth arc, landing with a hop onto the ledge.
Six shinobi tools. Loaded Shuriken, Flame Vent, Sabimaru Firecracker, Loaded Axe, Loaded Umbrella and Mist Raven are in your spells, under Destruction, Illusion and Alteration. Equip them to either hand and swap them with Skyrim spells whenever you like. Each costs its spirit emblems in magicka, and none of them ever hit your followers.
Sekiro's own sounds. Sword clashes, the deathblow, the resurrection, the hook, the axe and the firecracker all play straight from Sekiro's sound bank in your install.
Single player. Works on new and existing saves.
