Risk of Deadlock

Risk of Deadlock adds four Deadlock heroes to Risk of Rain 2's survivor menu: Haze, Abrams, Seven and Infernus. They use their real models, animations, guns, ability icons, sounds and voice lines, read from your own Deadlock install. Nothing from Deadlock is in the download.

Every hero

• Left Click: their Deadlock gun, with its magazine and reload.
• Right Click and Shift: two Deadlock abilities.
• R: a new move from a Deadlock item, melee attack or ability.
• Q: their Deadlock ultimate, as equipment. Every hero starts the run holding their own (120 s cooldown, about Preon Accumulator strength). Drop it or swap it, and find the other heroes' ults in chests. Any survivor can use them.

The heroes

• Haze: Twin SMGs, Sleep Dagger, Smoke Bomb, Phantom Strike; Q Bullet Dance. Passive: Fixation.
• Abrams: Shotgun, Siphon Life, Shoulder Charge, Haymaker; Q Seismic Impact. Passive: Infernal Resilience.
• Seven: Shock Rifle, Lightning Ball, Static Charge, Power Surge; Q Thunderhead. Passive: Capacitor.
• Infernus: Flame Gun, Napalm, Flame Dash, Torment Pulse; Q Concussive Combustion. Passive: Afterburn.

Each hero is balanced against a Risk of Rain 2 survivor: Haze against Commando, Abrams against Loader, Seven against Artificer and Infernus against Engineer. The effects were built for this mod in Unity, in Deadlock's style.

Co-op

Up to 4 players, through Risk of Rain 2's lobby, Steam invites or Melty's Join button. Every player needs this mashup (the same version) and Deadlock installed.

Requirements

Risk of Rain 2 and Deadlock, both installed. On the first start, Melty reads the heroes from your Deadlock folder. This takes a few minutes and happens again after a Deadlock or mashup update.
