Play Elden Ring as a How to Fish character, blasting the Lands Between with How to Fish's real guns.
Your Tarnished is gone. In their place: a How to Fish bean.
Pick your fisher. Choose from How to Fish's 18 characters (Lighthouse Keeper, Swamp Man, Grillmaster, Gunstore Clerk, Scientist, Badman and more) the first time you load in. Bodies, clothes, hats and googly eyes are How to Fish's own models, and your fisher walks the How to Fish way: stepping feet, arms on the gun.
Bring a gun to a sword fight. Your weapons become How to Fish's Pistol, SMG, Assault Rifle, Shotgun and Sniper Rifle, with How to Fish's damage (scaled up for the Lands Between), magazine sizes, fire rates, spread, shotgun pellets and gunshot and reload sounds. Every shot is a real Elden Ring projectile, so enemies take the damage and fight back as usual.
Ammo is the catch. Each gun has a few spare magazines. Rest at a Site of Grace to refill them.
Controls use your own Elden Ring bindings (keyboard, mouse or pad):
Everything from How to Fish is read from your own installed copy on the first Play and stays on your PC. Nothing is shipped from either game.
Offline single-player. Melty starts Elden Ring through ModEngine2 with Easy Anti-Cheat off. Needs Elden Ring 1.17.1 (2.7.1.x) and How to Fish.
