About

Left 4 Dead 2, but every survivor is an Epic Seven hero.

Everything from Epic Seven — hero voices, skill sounds, Soul Burn sounds and battle music — plays from your own Epic Seven install, through Epic Seven's own audio engine. Nothing is copied or shipped: you need both games installed.

What you get

Pick your hero when you spawn: Ras, Tenebria, Mercedes, Tamarinne, Kise, Bellona, Angelica or Krau. You hear their summon line and your outline takes their color. Type !heroi in chat to switch. Bots get heroes too.
Soul Burn: killing infected fills your bar (Witches and Tanks fill it fast). When it's full, press the middle mouse button to fire your hero's skill, with their real skill voice and effect. Skills include area blasts, fire storms, team heals, shields, reviving downed friends, double damage with speed, and invulnerability.
Hero voices when you're hurt, go down, get revived, kill a Tank, clear a map or lose.
Epic Seven music replaces L4D2's: calm, horde, finale, a boss theme for the Tank, plus victory and defeat. It follows your L4D2 volume, pauses when you alt-tab, and your L4D2 music setting is restored when you quit.
Solo with bots, or co-op for up to 4.

Needs Left 4 Dead 2 and Epic Seven Demo (Steam). Runs on your own server with SourceMod, which Melty installs. Like every L4D2 SourceMod mashup, the game starts with -insecure, so it can't join VAC-secured servers while the mashup is on.
