Los Santos Outbreak

Los Santos has fallen. You're Trevor, free-roaming GTA V's open world while the streets fill with the common infected of Left 4 Dead 2: their own models, skins, clothes and animations, and their moans and screams, all read from your own Left 4 Dead 2 install.

• The infected: ordinary people turn into all 17 kinds of L4D2 common infected, including the police, CEDA hazmat, nurses and patients. They move exactly like in Left 4 Dead 2: they idle and wander until they spot you, then sprint flat out and claw. Gunshots draw them in, a headshot drops them, and anyone they kill gets back up.
• Story characters are safe: Franklin, Michael, Lamar and the rest of the cast are never turned.
• A few survivors: small armed groups hold out around the city, and they fight the infected and call out in the L4D2 survivors' voices.
• Companion mode: press E to recruit a survivor. F6 switches between one close Companion and a Gang of up to seven, and F5 tells your crew to follow you or hold a spot.
• F8 switches the outbreak on and off.

Single player, in GTA V Story Mode only. The mod switches itself off if you go online. It needs GTA V Legacy and Left 4 Dead 2 installed. No files from either game are copied: everything Left 4 Dead 2 brings is read from your own copy.
