Rip and tear through the Lands Between. Slayer Ring puts the DOOM Slayer into Elden Ring, with DOOM: The Dark Ages' own sounds and music read from your copy of the game.
What you get
The Slayer origin. A new starting class at character creation (it takes the Vagabond's slot): Flail, Round Shield with the Parry skill, a closed Banished Knight helm and Slayer-tuned stats.
Dark Ages parries. Land a parry and you hear DOOM: The Dark Ages' shield parry, and get 10% of your HP and 15% of your FP back. Pushing forward pays.
Shield blocks that sound like the Dark Ages. Blocking a hit plays the Slayer's shield impact on top of Elden Ring's own sound.
DOOM combat music. When a fight starts, The Dark Ages' "Unchained Predator" combat score kicks in, loops while you fight and fades out when it's over.
Before you play
Needs Elden Ring 1.17.1 and DOOM: The Dark Ages installed through Steam on the same PC. Nothing from DOOM ships with the mod: on first start it reads the sounds and music from your own install (a few seconds, once).
Offline single-player. Melty starts Elden Ring through ModEngine2 with Easy Anti-Cheat off.
Plays on its own save file, so your own characters are untouched. Pick Slayer under New Game.
