Play vanilla Minecraft as Sonic or Shadow: the real Sonic Adventure 2 models, textures and animations, loaded from your own copy of Sonic Adventure 2 on Steam while you play.
What you get
Be Sonic or Shadow. Press K to choose, J to swap. Their real SA2 models and animations replace your Minecraft player, and Shadow skates.
SA2 moves in any vanilla world. Sprint to hit top speed, jump into a spin ball, press jump again in the air for a homing attack (or an air dash with nothing to target), hold sneak and let go to spin dash through leaves, glass and grass, and land on Minecraft rails to grind. Health, hunger, mobs and crafting stay vanilla.
The SA2 Speed Course world, included: rings, springs, dash panels, grind rails over the void and a spin-dash wall, with a timer, a ring counter and an SA2-style A to E rank at the GOAL. City Escape plays during the run and the stage-clear jingle plays at the goal, both streamed from your SA2 files.
What you need
Minecraft: Java Edition. The first time, sign in once in the bundled Prism Launcher. It downloads Minecraft 1.21.1, Fabric and Java by itself.
Sonic Adventure 2 on Steam. Nothing from SA2 is included. Without it you play as normal Minecraft and the game tells you why.
