Sonic Adventure 2 comes to Elden Ring. Run 1.6x faster, spin-dash out of your dodge, homing-attack enemies, and collect rings that shield you from hits. Press K to turn into SA2's own Sonic model, read straight from your Sonic Adventure 2 install.
New in 1.1.4
- Super Sonic curls into a gold spin ball for jumps, spin dashes and homing attacks, then flies again.
- Super Sonic is truly untouchable: no enemy, boss, grab or status effect can hurt him, and he takes no fall damage from any height.
- More SA2 music: every region has two or three SA2 stage themes that take turns. New tracks include Prison Lane, Pumpkin Hill, Sand Ocean, Dry Lagoon, White Jungle, Mad Space and Green Hill, plus the Chao Garden in Roundtable Hold.
- Fixed: the game no longer closes by itself on Play when Steam isn't open yet, and the world map is no longer slow or covered by Sonic.
What's in it
- Rings pop out of defeated enemies. A hit costs rings instead of health; a hit with no rings is fatal.
- Bosses drop Chaos Emeralds. With all 7 and 50 rings, hold Jump for SA2's Super Sonic: he flies, gets a golden aura and 2.2x speed, and SA2's invincibility theme plays.
- Sonic stays Sonic through doors, fog walls, teleports and loading screens.
- SA2's music plays from your own SA2 install by area, with SA2 boss themes in boss fights.
Needs Elden Ring (2.7.1.0) and Sonic Adventure 2 on Steam. Offline only: Melty starts Elden Ring with Easy Anti-Cheat off. For the SA2 soundtrack alone, set Elden Ring's Music volume to 0.
