SA2 Craft: Sonic & Shadow

Play Minecraft as Sonic or Shadow — the real characters from your own copy of Sonic Adventure 2.

Press M to open the character menu. SA2 Craft reads the models, textures, animations, physics and stage music straight from your Steam install of Sonic Adventure 2 while you play, so everything looks, moves and sounds like SA2. Nothing from SA2 is included in the download.

What you get

• Sonic and Shadow with every upgrade collected: jumpball, homing attack (locks onto mobs, 5 hearts of damage), spin dash, somersault, Light Speed Dash, Light Speed Attack, Bounce Bracelet, Magic Hand, Flame Ring, Mystic Melody, plus Sonic Wind / Chaos Spear and Time Stop / Chaos Control
• SA2's own running physics, read from the game, at true SA2 speed with a chase camera
• Grind on rails and on the tops of fences, walls, iron bars and chains
• No fall damage; your health is the normal Minecraft health bar
• Mining, building and everything else stay normal Minecraft
• SA2 stage music that follows where you are: Green Forest in forests by day, White Jungle at night, City Escape in villages, Aquatic Mine underwater, Pyramid Cave underground, Death Chamber near trial chambers and dungeons, Final Rush / Final Chase in the End, a Radical Highway / Pumpkin Hill / Sky Rail / Crazy Gadget / Sonic vs. Shadow mix in the Nether, your character's theme on plains and during the credits, and more
• Keyboard and controller (Xbox / PlayStation) support

Coming later: Knuckles, Rouge, Tails, Eggman and their mechs (already listed in the menu).

You need: Minecraft: Java Edition and Sonic Adventure 2 (Steam). On first start Prism Launcher opens once so you can sign in with your Microsoft account; it then downloads Minecraft 1.21.1 and Fabric by itself. Single player (Open to LAN works by hand on the same network).

Unofficial fan mod, not affiliated with SEGA, Mojang or Microsoft. Bundles Prism Launcher (GPL-3.0) and Fabric API (Apache-2.0).
