Ada: Mercenaries Zombies

Work in progress: this mod is unfinished. Expect rough edges, missing polish and things that change between updates. If something breaks, reports from Melty help a lot.

Play Black Ops III Zombies as Ada Wong from Resident Evil 4's Mercenaries. Ada is rebuilt from your own copy of RE4 the first time you press Play, so nothing from either game is in the download.

The goal

Beat the countdown clock, chain kills for combo points and extra time, and go for the S rank.

How it plays

• Zombies come fast and every door is open from the start.
• Headshots stagger zombies, and a KICK prompt lets you finish them off.
• The Bowie Knife works like RE4: tap melee to stab, hold it to block hits from the front, and parry a hit right as the knife comes up.
• No health regeneration. Green Herbs are your only healing, and they're rare.
• Yellow orbs fill the Mayhem meter: aim + melee for double damage, extra speed and a full heal.
• An elite zombie shows up every third round, worth 1000 points and a sure pickup.

Look and sound

• Camera over Ada's shoulder, and an RE4-style laser sight while aiming.
• Her own RE4 voice replaces the default Zombies crew.
• A clean HUD: just your gun and ammo, plus the Bowie wall-buy chalk while you guard.

Maps

The Giant, Shadows of Evil, Der Eisendrache, Zetsubou No Shima, Gorod Krovi and Revelations. Only the ones you own are listed. Pick one and you drop straight in.

You need

Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Resident Evil 4 (2023) and the free Black Ops III Mod Tools (Steam). Solo only.

While Black Ops III is the window in front, the launcher watches a few movement keys to remember one of your choices between matches. It never records or sends anything, and never reads or changes the game itself.
