Black Ops: San Vansterdam

Drop into skate.'s San Vansterdam as a Black Ops III Specialist. Sprint, slide, thrust-jump and wall-run across the whole city, then turn Specialist weapons and abilities on its streets: chairs, bins, crates, pallets and rooftop ducts all go flying.

What each game brings

• skate.: the city itself. Every building, street, canal, prop and texture is read straight from your skate. install. skate. never starts, and its anti-cheat is never touched.
• Call of Duty: Black Ops III: the Specialists' voice lines and sounds, read from your BO3 install, plus BO3's movement and Specialist rules.

What you can do

• BO3 movement: sprint, power slide (crouch while sprinting), thrust jump (press jump again in the air), wall run, mantle and swim the canals.
• All 9 Specialists (press Tab): Ruin, Outrider, Prophet, Battery, Seraph, Nomad, Reaper, Spectre and Firebreak, each with their ability (Q) and Specialist weapon (E).
• Wreck the city: War Machine, Sparrow, Gravity Spikes, Heat Wave and the rest knock San Vansterdam's props around. You score points for everything you send flying.
• Solo free roam, no time limit.

Good to know

• The first Play reads the city once (about 10 seconds). After that it starts straight away.
• Black Ops III is optional. Without it the city still plays, but the Specialists are silent.
• Voice lines were matched by what they say. Effect sounds were chosen by sound analysis, so some may be a different BO3 sound than the one BO3 uses there.
• No BO3 character or gun models (they're locked inside BO3's files), so the HUD stands in for them.
• The city wears skate.'s own sky, textures, material tints and decals. skate.'s large grime overlays and a few special shaders (community-park ramps) aren't reproduced yet.
• Windows only.
