About

Cast your line in How to Fish and reel in Plants vs. Zombies zombies, then fight them off with PvZ plants. Every catch is an animated, human-sized zombie from PvZ Replanted, and every gun is a plant. PS: press f3 for plant menu and f6 for a cheat menu if you just wanna mess around. This is lowkey slop but its also my first attempt at this so enjoy! Most of the fun begins on the second island.

Zombies instead of fish

All 66 catchable creatures are animated PvZ zombies: Browncoats, Coneheads, Bucketheads, Screen Door, Flag and Ducky Tube Zombies, Snorkel Zombies, Dolphin Riders, Imps, Football and Pogo Zombies, all the way up to a Zomboni and a Gargantuar.
They swim at the surface, dangle from your line when hooked, groan, and fall over with PvZ's own death animations.
On land they don't flop back to the water: they shamble straight at you and bite.

Plants instead of guns

Held in your hand and aimed at the reticle, each plant fires like its PvZ self: Peashooter (1 pea), Repeater (2), Gatling Pea (4-pea burst), Threepeater (3 in a spread), Snow Pea (slows zombies), Cattail (homing spikes) and Cherry Bomb.
PvZ peas, splats and sounds. One pea per click, shots land on the reticle, and the whole zombie is the hitbox. Zombies flash when hit and show a health bar.

Crazy Dave and Dr. Zomboss stand in for How to Fish's NPCs; their dialogue, quests and shops still work.
F3: Crazy Dave's plant shop. F6: cheat menu (host only): money, God mode, island travel, unlocks and more.
PvZ music: Crazy Dave's theme, Watery Graves on the water, and the Brainiac Maniac battle theme for bosses.

Play together Solo or How to Fish co-op (up to 8 players) through the game's own Steam lobbies and invites. Everyone in the lobby should have Zombie Fishing.
