Terraria X2

Play Terraria as Mega Man X2's X or Mega Man X3's Zero, alone or with up to 3 friends. Everything Mega Man X (sprites, colours, sounds, music) is read live from your own Mega Man X Legacy Collection, and four X2 Mavericks come to Terraria as bosses.

Your Hunter

• X from X2: right click fires the X-Buster (hold to charge), double-tap or press Dash to dash. Left click stays Terraria's, so swords, tools and blocks work as usual.
• Zero from X3: Z-Buster with X3's full charge chain (charged shot, second shot, then the Z-Saber finisher), the green Z-Saber on left click, and a dash.
• Choose on the "Choose your Hunter" screen; press P any time to switch.

X2's four armor parts: found in chests and from Terraria bosses, or crafted. Each changes X's look exactly as in X2 and adds its upgrade: a chest radar (Head), a second charge shot (Arm), less damage plus the Giga Crush on G (Body) and an air dash (Foot).

The Mavericks: each has his real X2 sprites, X2's boss theme and a life bar along the bottom. Beat him for gold, hearts and, the first time, a missing armor part, and you take his weapon (Q switches weapons, X and Zero both).

• Overdrive Ostrich dashes, flying-kicks and rains Sonic Slicers. Gives the Sonic Slicer: blades that bounce off walls.
• Wire Sponge lashes his Strike Chain, climbs it and grows thorn vines. Gives the Strike Chain: hits, grabs items and pulls you to walls.
• Wheel Gator bursts out of the ground, lunges with his jaws and spits Spin Wheels. Gives the Spin Wheel: a saw that rolls ahead and climbs walls.
• Bubble Crab hops, throws drifting bubbles, sends out his crab-bot, charges with glowing pincers and hides in a bubble shield. Gives the Bubble Splash: a stream of bubbles; charged, a bubble shield circles you for eight seconds.

Co-op for up to 4: one player hosts with Terraria's Multiplayer > Host & Play; friends join with Melty's join link, no address to type. Everyone picks X or Zero, the Mavericks fight everyone, and everyone nearby gets the reward.

Needs Terraria 1.4.5 and Mega Man X Legacy Collection. Nothing from either game is included: the mod reads from your own copies while you play.
