Terraria: Ascension

Drop a TowerFall archer into Terraria and play the whole game the TowerFall way.

You need your own Terraria (Steam) and TowerFall Ascension. Nothing from either game is included: the archers, their animations, portraits, the ASCENSION title letters and every sound are read from your own TowerFall while you play, and your own Terraria starts with the archer patched in (Terraria's files aren't changed).

What you get

• Any TowerFall archer: pick one on Terraria's character select (Archer button) or switch from the inventory screen. TowerFall's Dark World archer shows up if you own the expansion.
• TowerFall movement (on a controller): jump, wall slide and wall jump, ledge grab, duck, the 8-way dodge (one in the air) with dodge-cancel super dashes, head stomps, catching projectiles mid-dodge, squash and stretch, and TowerFall's own sounds. Dodging down slopes builds speed.
• TowerFall Archery: bows aim 8 ways and fire on release, and your archer holds the Terraria bow you have equipped.
• Terraria gear still works: rocket boots and wings on a second jump press, double jumps, dash accessories on a stick double tap.
• Armor and accessories are hidden so you only ever see the archer.
• Multiplayer: Terraria's own Host & Play with Steam lobbies (no port forwarding), everyone sees the others as their chosen archers.

Controls

Controller (TowerFall layout): left stick move/duck · right stick aim · A jump · X or RT attack (bows: hold to draw, release to fire) · LB/RB/LT dodge (press again mid-dodge to super dash) · D-pad left/right hotbar · D-pad up or Y inventory · B interact.

Keyboard and mouse: plain Terraria (V toggles TowerFall Archery).
