⚠️ v0.1.0 is a mod shell. ModEngine2 installs, Elden Ring launches cleanly, EAC is off (account-safe), but no in-game content is applied yet — the full roster, villain reskins and HUD renames land in v0.2.0 once the Windows build pass has materialized the real regulation.bin and msgbnd.dcx files. If you want to wait for the content, come back for v0.2.0.

Stud-bearers

40+ Marvel heroes, 12 villainous bosses, infinite bricks. Elden Ring, Lego-fied.

A ModEngine2 mashup that turns the Lands Between into LEGO Marvel. Elden Ring's 10 starting classes become flagship heroes (Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Wolverine, Deadpool, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Black Panther). Every Site of Grace opens a Mirror of Builds that unlocks the full 40-hero roster — armor set, signature weapon, palette, icon and name per hero. 12 main bosses are reskinned as Marvel villains: Doc Ock, Mystique, Thanos, Red Skull, Venom, Juggernaut, Red Hulk, Blade, Dark Phoenix, Magneto, Galactus, Doctor Doom. Runes read as Studs, Sites of Grace as Build Stations, flasks as Vita-Ray Vials and Pym Particle Vials, and the UI gets a comic coat.

Required games

• Elden Ring (primary, >=2.7.1.0 <=2.7.1.1) — what Stud-bearers installs into.
• LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is the mashup's flavor source; you don't need to own it.

Mode

Single-player, offline. Melty launches Elden Ring through ModEngine2 with Easy Anti-Cheat off — safe for your account. Never launch the game another way while Stud-bearers is installed.

One click

Press Play. Melty auto-installs ModEngine2 (release-2.1.0), drops Stud-bearers into {managed}/modengine2/mod/, and launches modengine2_launcher.exe -t er -c config_eldenring.toml. No manual steps.

What is in each version

• v0.1.0 (current): final ModEngine2 config and mod-folder shape. Smithbox-ready patch JSONs for text and params shipped under mod/msg/engus/_patches/ and mod/regulation/_patches/ (40 heroes, 37 weapons, 12 villains, 10 class overrides, 20 renames). A Windows PowerShell helper (build-v0.2-on-windows.ps1) that materializes the real regulation.bin and msgbnd.dcx files. No in-game changes yet.
• v0.2.0 (next): real binary overrides applied — hero names at character creation, boss renames in-game, HUD/menu text swap. Being prepared.
