Build Space Engineers 2 ships block by block anywhere in Skyrim, fly them with SE2's physics and fight with SE2's weapons.
Needs Skyrim Special Edition / Anniversary Edition (1.6.1130 or newer) and Space Engineers 2. Single player. On first Play the mashup reads the blocks, models, textures, icons and stats from your own Space Engineers 2. Nothing from SE2 is in the download.
Build
- Press B anywhere for build mode. You get about 300 SE2 blocks, each at its real size, with their moving parts: turret heads and barrels, wheels, rotors and door leaves.
- N opens SE2's block screen, with search, an All group and SE2's icons and stats.
- G switches between small and large grid. Your hotbar stays the same.
- X turns the jetpack on and off.
- Hold left click and drag to fill a whole area with blocks.
- F10 builds your saved ships (Ctrl+B saves the one you're looking at) and your own SE2 blueprints.
Fly and fight
- Press E on a cockpit to fly. The way the cockpit faces is forward.
- Ships cruise until you've been moving for 5 seconds, then they boost.
- Ships are SE2 rigid bodies: a lopsided ship tips over and rolls.
- You can stand, walk and jump on ships.
- SE2 gatling guns, rockets and turrets reach 5x SE2's range. Rocket blasts are 3x bigger and throw whatever they kill. Large grid weapons get 5x range and size on top of that.
- A ship toolbar lets you pick which weapon fires.
Ships get hurt
- Skyrim's enemies attack your ships. Arrows, spells and blows land on the blocks they reach.
- Damaged blocks smoke, spark and switch to SE2's fractured models. Destroyed blocks break off, and pieces that come loose fly away as ships of their own.
Working blocks: lights, turrets that pick their own targets, landing gear, doors, cargo storage, medical rooms, beds and seats.
Ships and the jetpack stop at the edge of Skyrim's map. Stepping out of a cockpit is always safe, however high or far you flew.
