Be Serious Sam: his real guns in first person, Sam as your player, and his enemies charging you at dusk.
Serious Sam's enemies charge you at dusk in real Minecraft survival, and you fight them with Sam's own Colt, Single Shotgun, Double Shotgun, Tommygun, Minigun, Grenade Launcher and Rocket Launcher, as Sam himself.
Serious Sam's real weapons in your hands. In first person the Tommygun and Double Shotgun are Serious Sam's own 3D models, held the way the original game holds them (same position and narrow weapon view) and playing the real animations: draw, idle, firing, and Sam's hand with the shotgun shells. Their real fire and reload sounds play, and Serious Sam's own HUD icons are used for the items.
Blood, pickups and a knife. Hits spray Serious Sam's own blood sprites (skeletons spray bones). Enemies drop his health and armor items (right-click to use), and with an empty hand you swing his real knife.
Nether spawns. The five enemies also spawn naturally in the Nether, in groups, like vanilla monsters (you need Serious Sam installed).
Armor and items on Sam. In third person Minecraft armor is fitted to Sam's taller body, and tools, blocks and other items are held in his hand with his knife-swing animation.
Real models on the ground too. Dropped guns and ammo (and what enemies drop) are Serious Sam's own 3D pickup models: the Tommygun, Double Shotgun, bullet crate and shell box, spinning and bobbing.
You are Serious Sam. In third person (F5) the player is Sam: his legs, torso, head and glasses, with the real walk, run and crouch animations, the gun in his hands, and his head following where you look.
Eleven real enemies. Each has Serious Sam's own model, animations, texture, health, speed, attack damage and sounds:
Serious Sam's health and armor, with his HUD. Health counts like Serious Sam (100 is full) and armor is a separate pool that takes 2/3 of every hit before health does. The Minecraft hearts are replaced by Serious Sam's own HUD (heart and vest in bordered boxes, his number font, yellow to orange to red as it drops, shaking when it changes). Health pickups heal and armor pickups fill the armor pool.
Gun effects. Muzzle flashes, flying brass casings and red shotgun shells, gun smoke, stone chips where bullets hit and animated rocket and grenade explosions, all Serious Sam's own sprites.
The End. In The End the Endermen are replaced by the harder enemies (Gnaar Sergeant, Sirian Werebull, Scorpman General, Beast, Walker and Walker Sergeant).
Dusk hordes. From dusk until dawn they spawn around you, the horde grows every night, and tougher enemies join as the nights go on. Normal Minecraft mobs are unchanged. Enemies drop Bullets and Shells (bigger enemies drop more). Everything is craftable in survival: the stronger the gun, the harder it is to craft (a Colt is a few iron ingots, a Rocket Launcher needs diamonds, iron blocks and TNT), and so are ammo, health and armor pickups. It is also all in the Combat creative tab. Single-player.
You need both games. Minecraft: Java Edition, and Serious Sam Classic: The First Encounter (Steam) installed on this PC. Serious Craft reads Serious Sam's models, textures and sounds from your own copy while it runs, and nothing from that game is included. If it isn't installed, the mod tells you in game and you keep the normal Minecraft look.
First Play: Prism Launcher (bundled) opens once and asks you to sign in with the Microsoft account that owns Minecraft: Java Edition. It then downloads Minecraft 26.3 and Java, which takes a few minutes. After that, create a world and wait for dusk.
