DeltaCraft

Play Minecraft survival as Kris. Susie and Ralsei walk behind you from the moment you spawn, chat in Deltarune text boxes, and when a hostile mob reaches you the world freezes and a real Deltarune battle begins: FIGHT, ACT, MAGIC, ITEM, SPARE, DEFEND, and a bullet box to dodge in as the red SOUL.

Everything Deltarune on screen and in your ears (the party, the battle UI, the font, the sound effects, the soundtrack) is read from your own installed copy of Deltarune while you play. The enemies are the actual Minecraft mobs, and their attacks are made of Minecraft items. Single player.

What you get

• You are Kris. In third person the player is Kris's Dark World sprite.
• Susie and Ralsei spawn with you and follow in a line, the way party members do in Deltarune.
• The party talks in Deltarune text boxes, with portraits and voices, about nightfall, rain, biomes, the Nether, the End, low health, diamonds and more.
• Any hostile mob that reaches you, hits you or gets hit starts a Deltarune battle: FIGHT with timing bars, ACT, MAGIC (Rude Buster, Heal Prayer, Pacify), ITEM, SPARE, DEFEND, TP, mercy and TIRED.
• Enemy turns are a bullet box: steer the red SOUL (arrows or WASD, hold Shift to slow) through attacks made of Minecraft items. Grazing bullets builds TP.
• 26 enemies with their own ACTs and spare routes, from Zombie and Creeper to the bosses: Elder Guardian, Ender Dragon, Wither and Warden, each with several attack patterns and its own Deltarune boss track.
• Defeated mobs drop their normal Minecraft loot. Spared mobs leave peacefully and may leave a gift.
• Deltarune items as craftable Minecraft items: Dark Candy, Darkburger, Choco Diamond, Spin Cake, Top Cake, Revive Mint, Tension Bit. Minecraft food also works as a battle ITEM.
• Gear: Spookysword, Brave Ax, Dainty Scarf, Amber Card, Dice Brace, Iron Shackle, White Ribbon, plus Devilsknife and Jevilstail from bosses. Equip from the party menu (C). Kris also gains AT from the held Minecraft weapon and DF from Minecraft armor.
• During a battle Minecraft's own music and sounds are silenced; only Deltarune's play.

Before you play

• You need Minecraft: Java Edition (your account) and Deltarune installed.
• Melty sets up its own Minecraft 1.21.1 with Fabric for this. The first start asks you to sign in to Prism Launcher with your Microsoft account once.
• Open any single-player world and you are in.
