What's different
The 300 is real. While Black Panther is active in Rivals mode his health is a true 300-point pool (Minecraft's 20 plus 280), and locking him in heals a real 300 points. In the original, "300 HP" was only the Rivals HUD's way of scaling a normal 20-point bar.
Every health number on screen is honest. Bonus health (the gold segment from Spear Toss and Dimensional Shortcut) and its cap scale with the pool, and the bar reads one real point per Rivals HP.
Respawning as him refills the real pool.
