Play Cyberpunk 2077 as a Minecraft player. You run through Night City with Minecraft's movement, carry its inventory and HUD, build with its blocks, and fight with its weapons. Cyberpunk keeps its city, NPCs, quests and saves; Minecraft runs hidden alongside it.
Minecraft movement, Night City's walls: CyberCraft asks Cyberpunk's own physics what's around you, so walls, floors, doors, gates, railings, road barriers and street signs stop you exactly where they stop V, with no invisible walls in the air. Open a door and walk through it. Arrows, tridents, snowballs and ender pearls hit the city near and far.
Build anywhere: place and break blocks on streets, rooftops and in V's apartment. Insert snaps the block grid to the street you're facing, and the arrow keys fine-tune it. Torches and lava light the streets, and NPCs, cars and bullets meet your walls. The outline of the block you look at follows its real shape (a railing's rails, a fence's posts), and End portals show their stars.
Dig into Night City: mine a street or a wall and a hole opens in the city, lined with dirt, then stone with ores, then bedrock. Jump in and keep digging. Chairs, sun loungers, cushions, railings and window frames just disappear when you mine them: the floor under them stays, and the view behind them is filled in. TNT and the wither blow holes too. Parked cars are solid, but they're cars, not the city: they can't be dug.
Fight: swords, bows, tridents, potions and TNT hit Cyberpunk's NPCs. Your Minecraft hearts are V's health.
Water, time and weather: swim, fish and sail in the city's water; Minecraft's day and weather follow Night City's, and /time or /weather change the city too.
Third person:F5 shows your Minecraft skin and armour in V's place.
Play together: your world opens to friends as soon as you play. Friends press Join here on Melty and land in your Minecraft world (each of you keeps your own Night City), up to 100 players. Turn off Open to friends in Mod Settings to keep it private.
Good to know
The first time, Melty signs CyberCraft's Minecraft in with the Microsoft account that owns Minecraft: Java Edition, before the game starts. Minecraft and Java then download once (a few minutes) while Cyberpunk loads.
Pause menu → Mod Settings → CyberCraft: turn the mod on or off, open Minecraft's settings, change the Minecraft scale, Fun mode, and Open to friends. The City destruction button in Minecraft's pause menu (O) turns digging off.
Plan for about 3 GB more RAM. DLSS is recommended (blocks hide behind the city pixel by pixel).
Early and experimental: back up your saves. A fan project, not affiliated with CD PROJEKT RED, Mojang or Microsoft.
