Random Block is a Minecraft: Java Edition 26.3 mod for single player.
What it does
Every block in the world is a different, randomly chosen block.
When you break a block or place a block, every block in the world is replaced by a new random block.
A block you place is shown as the block you placed.
Modes
You choose a mode with the Random Blocks mode button on the Create New World screen. Each world keeps the mode it was created with. The mode names and what they do:
Starts normal: all blocks start as normal. When you mine a block, the blocks touching it become random blocks.
Random, never changes: all blocks are random blocks and they never change.
Random, reshuffles (default): all blocks are random blocks. Breaking or placing a block reshuffles all of them.
Random, reshuffles often: like mode 3, and stepping onto a new block also reshuffles all of them.
How blocks behave
A block behaves like the block it is shown as: mining time, the tool it needs, the damage your tool takes, and whether you can walk through it.
Breaking a block gives you the block it was shown as when you started mining it.
Blocks shown as plants are solid, so you cannot walk through them.
Blocks shown as magma, cactus, sweet berry bush, cobweb, wither rose, pointed dripstone, soul sand, honey, slime or ice have their normal effect (damage, slowing, bouncing or sliding).
If a reshuffle makes the block space you are standing in solid, you are moved up to the nearest free space.
The End portal frame, the End portal, the End gateway and bedrock are never changed.
