Red Dead Redemption 2 is the game you play. Fallout: New Vegas supplies the weapons and armor.
Mojave Arsenal reads weapon and armor data from your own Fallout: New Vegas install (nothing from either game is copied, saved or uploaded) and brings it into RDR2 story mode.
What you get
New Vegas weapons and armor, by name. A panel at the bottom right shows the current NV weapon and armor with their Pip-Boy pictures, names, damage and damage threshold (DT), all read live from your NV files, including the DLC.
NV damage and armor numbers. Each NV weapon is mapped to a fitting RDR2 weapon and the NV damage and DT are applied.
NV gun sounds. When you fire while aiming, the matching New Vegas shot sound plays (101 of 102 guns have one; melee weapons have none).
Cycle through the arsenal with the in-game hotkeys.
Honest limits
You see and shoot the RDR2 stand-in weapon (a plasma rifle plays as a rifle). New Vegas 3D models, clip size and fire rate are not carried over.
RDR2's own gun sound still plays too, so you hear both.
The effect of the damage and armor numbers on actual damage has not been measured.
No Fallout enemies yet.
Story mode only (never the Online tab). The pictures need DirectX 12; otherwise a plain text readout is shown.
Needs both games installed.
