Ride Liberty City with your skate. deck: ollie, flip and grind for points.
Ride as Niko in Liberty City with a real deck graphic read from your own installed copy of skate. This small solo arcade mashup adds pushing, steering, ollies, kickflips, landing scores and one grindable street bench.
Load GTA IV story mode and press F6 to start at the Hove Beach test spot. W pushes, A/D steer, S brakes, Space pops an ollie, K flips, G held during a pop onto the bench grinds, and F7 resets. Press F6 again to return to ordinary GTA IV controls.
Requires GTA IV: The Complete Edition for PC, version 1.2.0.59, plus skate. for PC. Steam GTA IV and skate. build 25617022 were used for testing. Melty installs the included mod and required loader automatically. Two two-minute install-and-launch test runs passed, with all six gameplay checks and recording reviews.
First-release limits: keyboard controls, solo play and one grindable bench. The deck is a projected visual with simple sidewalls and wheel marks; depth clipping and GTA IV's ordinary crouch/jump animations remain. This is arcade movement rather than skate.'s full simulation. Sound comes from GTA IV's existing ambient and action sounds.
Each player supplies both games. The skate. deck is decoded from that player's installation into memory; no game models, textures, sound, maps or community assets are included in the download. skate.'s online client is not launched or modified.
