Curse of Morg, Forever

Keep skating the Isle of Grom under the Curse of Morg after the event is gone. Curse of Morg, Forever runs skate. offline (built on ReSkate) and drops you straight onto the island at night, with the Morg mood brought back and turned up.

What you get

• The curse, for good: thick crimson-purple mist that the street lamps glow through, a blood-purple sky, crimson clouds rolling in, and red lightning that flashes through the mist every 15 to 30 seconds.
• Halloween props where you start: a ring of giant and small jack-o'-lanterns and tombstones. They're saved in your park, so you can move them in the park editor.
• The island's Halloween pieces, always on: giant skeletons looming over South Hills, eyeball stalks, a giant spider and the Raveyard gate.
• Starts straight on the Isle of Grom, no menus.
• Plays from its own fixed copy of skate., so EA's updates can't take the island away.
• Free-skate alone, or with up to 32 friends in a ReSkate lobby.

Honest note: the event's own statues, altars and candles came in a newer game version that this offline version can't draw yet. The mist, sky and lightning here are recreated to match the event's mood. I'm still working on bringing the event props over too.

First start: the launcher downloads the version of skate. this plays from Steam with your own account. Scan the QR code it shows with the Steam app. It reuses your own Steam copy, so only the files that differ are downloaded. After that, Play goes straight to the island.

Join through the game: the host opens the ReSkate menu (Insert), then ONLINE, then HOST LOBBY. Friends running Curse of Morg, Forever open ONLINE, then SERVER BROWSER, and press JOIN on it or type its code.
