You play Raft. How to Fish comes aboard.

Every Raft world hands you How to Fish's fishing rod. Cast it off the edge of your raft and whatever bites is one of How to Fish's own creatures, picked by its own bait tables. It gets swung onto your deck alive.

Some just flop about and try to get back in the water. Others, like the Gar and the Piranha, come straight for you.

What you do with the catch

• Fight it. Raft's spear and machete work. So do your fists. So do How to Fish's guns.
• Eat it. Pick it up and it is a normal Raft item. Eating it fills your hunger bar; cooking it on a Raft grill fills it more.
• Sell it. How to Fish's Store Grandma and Gun Store Clerk ride on your raft. Grandma pays cash for your catch and sells lures. Better lures bring meaner, more valuable fish, up to boss fish like the Blue Shark.
• Gear up. The Clerk sells the Pistol, Shotgun, Smg, Sniper Rifle and Assault Rifle at How to Fish's prices. They also hurt Raft's shark.

Out on the islands

The Lighthouse Keeper, Kiosk Lady, Grillmaster and Swamp Man wait on Raft's islands with the rarer lures. The Grillmaster pays double for cooked catch.

Good to know

• Single player.
• You need both Raft and How to Fish installed. Everything from How to Fish (models, prices, health, damage, catch chances) is read from your own copy while you play. Nothing from either game is in the download.
• Left mouse casts and reels in. Right mouse with the rod switches bait. E picks up a catch or talks to a character.
• Not in this version yet: crabs, the Spidercrab and Manta bosses, the bow, dynamite, How to Fish's own sounds, and playing together.
