Your raft, powered the ASTRONEER way. AstroRaft loads ASTRONEER's real power modules into Raft, with their models, palette colours and soundtrack read from your own ASTRONEER install, and wires them into Raft's survival loop.
What you get
Starter kit: every world gives you an ASTRONEER Small Printer and Solar Panel, once.
Five real ASTRONEER modules to place on your raft: Small Printer, Solar Panel, Wind Turbine, Small Generator and Tether Post.
ASTRONEER power: the Solar Panel works while the sun is up, the Wind Turbine gives a little day and night, and the Small Generator burns planks (press E to feed it).
Tethers carry power between modules in range and glow at night.
Raft's machines run without fuel or batteries while tethered: grills, purifiers, smelters, the cooking pot, the electric purifier, grill and smelter, sprinklers, the recycler, the juicer and the engine. Run out of power, or move a machine out of range, and it goes back to planks and batteries.
The Small Printer (press E) prints more modules from Raft materials. Printing needs power.
ASTRONEER's soundtrack plays quietly near your base. F7 toggles it.
Good to know
Single player.
You need Raft and ASTRONEER installed. The first launch takes a few seconds to read the modules and music from ASTRONEER (about 200 MB cached in %LOCALAPPDATA%/AstroRaft). Nothing from either game is included in the download.
Modules save with your world like any other Raft placeable.
