Counter-Strike 2 bomb matches inside How to Fish. Fish for money, buy CS2 guns with it, then play a bomb round on a real CS2 map against How to Fish's creatures, who carry CS2 guns and plant or defuse like a CS team.

You play in How to Fish. Counter-Strike 2 is never started and never modified: its maps, guns, sounds, HUD and skins are read from your own installed copy and converted on your PC the first time they are needed.

WHAT YOU GET

• Seven CS2 maps, picked on the casino table in the lobby: Ancient, Anubis, Cache, Dust II, Inferno, Mirage, Nuke. Wingman on Inferno and Nuke with fewer than 3 players, the full map otherwise.
• Fish, buy, fight. Each round starts with fishing time on an island: sell fish, then buy at the gun board (23 CS2 guns and the knife; T guns before an attack round, CT guns before a defence round). Then the bomb round on the CS2 map. Sides swap every round.
• Opponents with a plan. How to Fish's creatures carry CS2 guns, one per player and up to five. They hold sites, retake, plant and defuse.
• CS2's own HUD, radar and kill feed on the map; scopes, burst fire and a second zoom on the guns that have them.
• 445 CS2 skins, won at the casino's slot machine with fish.
• Guns in your pockets fall where you die; opponents drop theirs.
• No hunger while the mod is on.

PLAYING TOGETHER Host a game in How to Fish as usual and invite friends through Steam. Everyone needs the mod and CS2 installed. Tested with five players in one game against five opponents.

YOU NEED

• How to Fish (Steam), version 1.1.3
• Counter-Strike 2 installed (Steam, free). It only has to be installed.
• About 3 GB of free disk space for the converted maps

FIRST START The first match on each map converts it from your CS2 (a few seconds to a few minutes, once). The first start also prepares the gun models and skins (about two minutes).

CONTROLS

• E (hold): plant / defuse. X or middle mouse: burst fire, second scope zoom.
• Host: F5 calls a match off and goes back to the lobby (from the lobby: leave for the island). F4 skips the fishing time.
