Halo: Covenant Assault

Covenant Assault turns Paint the Town Red's Arena into a Halo mission.

• Play as Master Chief (host) or the Arbiter (the friend who joins), with Halo voxel arms and weapons: Chief carries the Assault Rifle and Magnum, the Arbiter the Energy Sword and Plasma Rifle (on Paint the Town Red's M4, Revolver, Katana and AK47).
• 5 waves of Covenant: Grunts, then Jackals behind their shields, then Elites, and a Hunter pair to finish.
• Paint the Town Red's chunk-by-chunk combat stays: every Covenant soldier fights with PTTR's own AI and gets sliced, smashed and dismembered.
• Halo shields: a recharging shield (with its blue bar) on top of your health.
• Co-op for 2 through Paint the Town Red's own Steam co-op (no port forwarding).

Nothing from either game is shipped. On first launch the mod reads the Halo 3 models (Chief, Arbiter, Grunt, Jackal, Elite, Hunter and the weapons) from your own Halo: The Master Chief Collection and converts them into voxels on your PC.

How to play: Arena → Challenge I is Covenant Assault. For co-op: Arena → Co-op → Host Game → Arena / Challenge 1 → Create Game, then Invite Friend.

Needs both Paint the Town Red and Halo: The Master Chief Collection installed. Online leaderboards are switched off while Covenant Assault runs.
