A remix of ER Mario (by deltarooo, published on Melty by Melty): play Elden Ring as Mario with Super Mario 64's real movement, now with:
- Render96's HD Mario and Yoshi (by the Render96 team, DynOS model pack 3.2). Not included in the download: the first setup fetches the pack from its official GitHub release and keeps only Mario's and Yoshi's files. If it can't be reached, you get the ROM's Mario and Yoshi.
- Elden Ring-style textures: faded denim, stained linen, worn felt cap, grimy gloves, creased leather shoes, tarnished brass buttons, weathered skin, and a hide-textured Yoshi with a worn leather saddle.
- Smooth joints: waist, hips, shoulders, elbows and knees bend instead of creasing, and the running twist is toned down so the one-piece body doesn't shear.
- Odyssey's roll: LB + Y (keyboard K + J). Hold LB to keep rolling, press Y in rhythm to boost, A to jump out. Slopes speed you up. Rolling into enemies bowls them over. Comes with swoosh arcs, boost sparks and a start burst.
- Punches and kicks make enemies stumble back instead of picking them up (
pick_up = on in er_mario.ini brings the throws back).
You need Elden Ring 2.7.1 on Steam and your own US Super Mario 64 ROM (Melty finds it). Offline, single player, separate save.
