Play Fallout 4 as the Doom Slayer: DOOM's ten weapons, armor, music and glory kills, read from your own DOOM (2016).
Step out of Vault 111 and the Slayer's crate lands in front of you. Single player.
Weapons: DOOM's whole single-player arsenal, each with DOOM's own model and firing sound:
Ammo: every ammo drop in the Commonwealth is ammo for the Doom arsenal (10mm becomes fusion cells, 5.56 becomes 5mm, .308 becomes gauss cartridges, and so on).
Praetor Suit: your Vault 111 jumpsuit becomes DOOM's marine armor and works like power armor:
The Praetor Helmet waits in the crate.
Other armor: eight more DOOM armor sets replace Fallout outfits you find, loot and see people wearing:
Doom Mode: with a Doom gun out you run faster and your gun bashes hit four times as hard. In combat, Mick Gordon's score plays, a random track from ten.
Glory kills: a Doom gun hit on an enemy below a quarter health staggers it and makes it glow. Bash or melee it to finish it for 40 health and a burst of ammo.
You need Fallout 4 (1.11.240, the current Steam version) and DOOM (2016). The first Play builds the models, sounds and music from your own DOOM install; nothing from DOOM is in the download.
Unofficial fan mod. DOOM is a trademark of id Software; Fallout 4 belongs to Bethesda Game Studios. Weapon numbers from DoomWiki; DOOM audio decoded with vgmstream (ISC).
