Fallout 4's radiation, chems, Nuka-Cola and Diamond City Radio, dropped into Don't Starve Together. Everything Fallout is read from your own Fallout 4 install on your PC: the item names and what they do, the art, the Geiger counter and the radio songs.
What you get
Radiation hot spots. The world is safe except for a handful of irradiated places near graveyards, ruins, meteor fields and ponds, each marked with Fallout 4's hazard sign. Loot lies inside them. Step in and your rads climb while a Geiger counter clicks faster the worse it gets.
Rads work as in Fallout 4. They eat into your maximum health until you remove them, and 1000 is fatal. A green readout under your status badges shows your rads.
Stimpak, RadAway and Rad-X to craft at a Science Machine, and Nuka-Cola to find in hot spots. Their names and effects come from your Fallout 4 data: a Stimpak restores 30% health, RadAway removes 300 rads, Rad-X halves the rads you take for 180 seconds, and a Nuka-Cola restores 20 health but adds 5 rads.
Radiation King Radio. Craft it, place it, switch it on: it plays Diamond City Radio's songs from your Fallout 4 files and slowly restores sanity while you stay near it.
Fallout's own art. Each item's picture is cut from Fallout 4's textures and shown as a small card.
You start with one Nuka-Cola and one RadAway.
Good to know
Single player, in a world you host. Caves are unchanged.
You need both games installed: Don't Starve Together and Fallout 4. Nothing from either game is in the download.
The first Play takes a few seconds longer while the Fallout 4 art is prepared on your PC.
It adds one line to Don't Starve Together's mods/modsettings.lua so the game loads the mod.
