MW2’s guns, HUD and killstreaks in Fallout 4.
Bring Modern Warfare 2 (2009)’s 43 weapons, first-person gun models, full-size weapon textures and sounds into your own Fallout 4. Weapons use Fallout 4’s hand animations with MW2 fire rates, magazine sizes, reload timing, spread and recoil, plus MW2 reload, raise and dry-fire sounds.
The MW2 HUD adds weapon icons, magazine and reserve ammo, three killstreak slots, hitmarkers and hit sounds, kill points and ready notices. Choose three killstreaks, build your streak with kills and lose it when you die. Unlock others or buy extra uses with caps. All 14 are included: UAV, Care Package, Sentry Gun, Predator Missile, Precision Airstrike, Harrier Strike, Attack Helicopter, Emergency Airdrop, Pave Low, Stealth Bomber, Chopper Gunner, AC-130, EMP and Tactical Nuke.
Create-a-Class gives you five editable classes. Buy primary and secondary weapons with caps, equip a class and receive three magazines for each gun. Press U for the MW2 Uplink, X to call in your best available killstreak, and Z to switch class. Rebind keyboard or controller buttons in Controls. The Uplink and markers are also available through Fallout 4’s Aid items and Favorites.
Single-player only. Requires Steam copies of Fallout 4 and Modern Warfare 2 (2009), including MW2’s weapon asset files. The HUD and hotkeys require a compatible Fallout 4 Script Extender. The converter reads assets from your installed games on first launch; game assets and the script extender are not included in the download. Version 1.2.2 fixes the reproduced startup and HUD crashes; tested on Fallout 4 1.11.240 with F4SE 0.7.9.
Shared Soldier code: Apache-2.0. Fastfile reader: IW4L by vladtrc and contributors, Apache-2.0. HUD font: Oxanium by Severin Meyer, SIL OFL 1.1. Fallout 4 and MW2 content comes from each player’s own games.
