You are the crab now. Crab Ring swaps your Tarnished for the crab from Crab Champions and brings its roguelite perk system into Elden Ring.
What you get
Play as the crab. The crab's model, colours and animations come from your own Crab Champions install: idle, walk, sprint slide, jump, the dash flip when you dodge, and the claw swing when you attack. Elden Ring hides the Tarnished and draws the crab in its place, behind walls and all.
The Crab Shop at every Site of Grace. Rest at a grace and a shop opens beside the grace menu with three Crab Champions perks: their real names, descriptions and icons. Click Buy or press 1, 2 or 3 to pay in runes.
13 stacking perks: Banana, Mango, Stamina, Hard Target, Vitality, Regenerator, Firestarter, High Voltage, Potent Magic, Collector, plus the Greed perks Glass Cannon, Big Bones (your crab grows!) and Brute Force. Each level changes your Elden Ring stats: max HP, Vigor, stamina, damage by element, damage taken, HP regeneration.
Prices that keep pace with you. The shop watches how fast you earn runes and prices each perk at about 2-3 minutes of your income, from Limgrave to the endgame. Every purchase costs more than the last.
Your perks and the perk bar (top right) are saved per character.
Good to know
Needs Elden Ring (exe 2.7.1.0) and Crab Champions, both installed. Melty starts Elden Ring offline through ModEngine2 with Easy Anti-Cheat off. Don't take a modded save online.
The first launch reads your Crab Champions files for a few seconds. Nothing from either game is in this download.
Single player.
