idk
Status: not ready to play. This is an offline diagnostic prototype for the local, single-player Demo.
F7 tries to load the Glock 17, M4A1, and Bodycam arms meshes; F8 lists arena bots; F9 traces from the camera and labels the hit bone as head, torso, arm, or leg.sheets/damage.json: head lethal, torso heavy damage, arm injury or weapon drop, leg limp or fall. The prototype does not yet attach and animate the full arms-and-gun viewmodel, fire either weapon, or apply the damage reactions. The F9 zone label is only a diagnostic; it does not hurt the bot. The Demo's exact bone names and damage behavior have not been checked in a running game.
The installed Demo folder is outside this task's write access, so UE4SS could not be installed there and the game could not be launched with the prototype. The Demo's content archive is encrypted, and no key or restricted mapping was used. The Bodycam assets were read from the user's local installation only.
This source package contains only mod source and design files. Keep BodycamViewmodels-local.pak on this PC; it contains Bodycam game assets and must not be shared or uploaded. Build a fresh local PAK from your own installed Bodycam files if needed.
Use the official UE4SS Xinput package that matches the game's 64-bit build. Copy mod/UE4SS/Mods/BodycamRange into UE4SS's Mods folder, then add the line in mod/UE4SS/Mods/enable-mod-line.txt to the existing Mods/mods.txt (keep its other entries). Copy your private BodycamViewmodels-local.pak into HalfSwordUE5/Content/Paks/~mods. Create ~mods if needed. These steps only stage the diagnostic prototype; they do not make the weapons playable yet.
Allow local access to the Half Sword Demo install folder so the prototype can be installed and checked in its arena. The first live check is whether the three meshes load and whether F9 reports the bot's actual hit bones. Then the viewmodel attachment, firing, and damage reactions can be wired to the Demo's verified runtime objects.
