About
Bodycam's round-based co-op Zombie Mode, brought back on Tumblewood Trenches with the game's own zombies. Reissad Studio switched the official mode off; its zombies are still in your copy of Bodycam, and this mod puts them back to work.
How it plays
Rounds of walkers. More of them every round, a little tougher each time, with a short breather in between.
They don't all come the same way. Some walk straight at you, some swing wide to flank you from the left or right, some circle round to come at you from behind, and some meander in with detours. They follow the terrain, climb trench lips, and a blocked zombie climbs out of holes and tries another way round.
Bodycam's stumble. A zombie you shoot dead staggers on its feet before it collapses. A heavy hit (or about 1 hit in 12) sends one stumbling; if it hits the ground it stays down for good, and if it keeps its feet it comes at you again. Dead zombies fall as proper ragdolls.
You feel every hit. The screen flashes red, the camera jolts, and you hear Bodycam's own body-camera knocks and mic crackle. Below 40 health the screen stays faintly red.
Slow regen. Once no zombie has hit you for 5 seconds, your health creeps back at 5 per second.
Your own loadout, nothing refills it. At the start of every breather, 4 random guns (from 11 in Bodycam's arsenal) are dropped on the ground around the squad. Find one, look at it and press F to take it. It comes with a full magazine and 4 full spare magazines. Guns nobody took are gone when the next 4 drop. The gun in your hands stays in your hands, and nobody is moved between rounds.
Kill counter. Every zombie you kill adds 1. Your count and your squad's are on screen.
One life per round. No downed state, no revives: lethal damage kills you, and you're out until the next round starts, then back where you fell. While you're dead, your shots do nothing.
Bodycam's own death screen. CAM DISCONNECTED covers your view while you're dead, and for everyone once nobody is left alive. Then a fresh game starts.
Co-op for up to 4. Invite friends to your Bodycam party as usual (they need this mod too). The party leader presses F6 in the lobby and everyone travels to the Trenches together. Solo works the same way.
Controls
F6 in the lobby: start Zombie Mode (party leader or solo)
F looking at a dropped gun: take it
