Bigfoot Souls is normal first-person Minecraft survival with a new problem: when night falls, BIGFOOT comes out of the trees to hunt you, and the only things that really hurt him are Dark Souls: Remastered weapons and armor.
What you get
- BIGFOOT, straight from his own game. His health (800) is read from BIGFOOT's data tables, and his real model, fur texture, animations (sneak, walk, run, howl, rage, claw swings, rock throw, death) and voice are read from your BIGFOOT install and drawn live inside Minecraft. He behaves like his night tree: he stalks you from a distance, freezes when you look at him, charges when you get close or hurt him, throws rocks, enrages at half health, and slinks away at sunrise. A boss bar tracks his 800 health.
- Dark Souls gear, straight from your copy. 10 weapons (Dagger, Shortsword, Bastard Sword, Black Knight Sword, Zweihander, Uchigatana, Hand Axe, Greataxe, Spear, Halberd), 3 shields (Heater, Eagle, Greatshield of Artorias) and 6 armor sets (Black Iron, Dark, Smough, Paladin, Catarina, Channeler). Names, descriptions, attack and defense numbers come from the game's own param files; the real 3D models and textures are held in your hands, shown in the inventory and worn on your player (first and third person).
- Supply chests everywhere. New terrain gets far more chests than vanilla, stocked with Dark Souls gear and survival basics. BIGFOOT drops Dark Souls gear when he falls.
- Normal Minecraft start: no special spawn, nothing handed out.
What you need
- Minecraft: Java Edition (Melty sets up Prism Launcher with Minecraft 1.21.1 and Fabric; sign in once)
- BIGFOOT and Dark Souls: Remastered installed from Steam. Nothing from those games is included in the download: on first start a small reader tool turns the files of your own installs into a local cache.
This is a single-player game.
