The Convergence Event

A solo action campaign through six regions of Lordran as Necromorph mutations spread alongside the existing enemy designs. Fight with Dark Souls weapons only: land light and heavy melee strikes, dodge or guard, and sever mutated limbs to stagger and slow their attacks. Face mutated mini-bosses throughout the route and four major bosses.

Required games: Dark Souls: Remastered and Dead Space (2023 remake). Melty launches the mashup in its own window and passes the installed game folders automatically. It reads the Dark Souls map index and Dead Space creature appearance index to shape the campaign and mutation profile. It does not patch either original game or include their files. The combatants are stylized original drawings.

Controls: WASD / arrows move; J quick strike; K heavy strike; Space dodge; hold Shift to guard; Enter starts or restarts; Escape pauses or closes.
