Basement Gensokyo

Isaac's basement spills into Gensokyo. Play Touhou Lost Branch of Legend as usual. The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth brings its real items, monsters, bosses and music, all read from your own Isaac install while you play.

What's in it

• 16 Isaac items become Exhibits: The Sad Onion, The Inner Eye, Spoon Bender, Cricket's Head, Magic Mushroom, Brimstone, Ipecac, Technology 2, Blood of the Martyr, Breakfast, Dr. Fetus, The Halo, The Wafer, Mom's Knife, Polyphemus and Sacred Heart. Each one shows its real Isaac picture, Isaac's own name for it and its pickup quote, with an effect rebuilt for card battles.
• A free treasure room: every new run starts with one random Isaac item, with Isaac's power-up jingle.
• Isaac's monsters join the Touhou ones. Nothing is replaced: they are added to the same fights.
  • Act 1: a Pooter with Attack Flies, a Clotty with a Horf, and Chub as an elite.
  • Act 2: Hosts hiding under their skulls with a Maw, and Monstro as a boss.
  • Act 3: Monstro II as a boss.
• Isaac's music plays during these fights: the Basement theme for his monsters, the boss fight theme for Chub, Monstro and Monstro II.

Single player. You need both games installed, and Melty sets everything up when you press Play. When Steam asks which way to start Lost Branch of Legend, pick the normal Play option.

Nothing from either game is included: the mod reads Isaac's files from your own copy.
