Play ROUNDS's Orange Guy or Blue Guy in their own Vampire Survivors adventure. Your own copy of ROUNDS runs hidden in the background: it draws the guys, fires their gun and runs every card, so cards work just as they do in ROUNDS, mod cards included.
What's in it
- Five stages, unlocked one by one. Mad Forest, Inlaid Library, Dairy Plant, Gallo Tower and Cappella Magna, with Vampire Survivors's own maps, enemies and bosses. Survive 10 minutes in a stage (15 in Cappella Magna) and the next one opens on the adventure's chapter list, as in Vampire Survivors's own adventures.
- ROUNDS's gun instead of Vampire Survivors's weapons. It aims at the nearest enemy by itself (move the mouse to aim it); right mouse or Space blocks.
- Every level-up is a ROUNDS card pick, on ROUNDS's own pick screen. A treasure chest gives one too, at most once a minute.
- ROUNDS's card bar in place of Vampire Survivors's items. Each card you take shows where Vampire Survivors shows your weapons and items, as ROUNDS's card bar shows it: a square with the card's two letters in your guy's colour.
- ROUNDS's effects, seen from above. Bullets bounce off enemies as well as the screen's edges (Bouncy, Ricochet, Mayhem), Target Bounce jumps to the next enemy, a jump is a hop over the horde, thrusters rocket enemies away, and gravity cards pin enemies down or lift them off their feet.
- ROUNDS card mods from Thunderstore. The launcher installs them with one click, and their cards show up in your picks. A mod card that comes without a picture shows its two ROUNDS letters instead.
- A face editor for each guy, with every eye, mouth and detail ROUNDS has.
- Straight in. Vampire Survivors opens right on the Vampire Rounds adventure's menu.
- A real challenge. The guys start with 70 health, every enemy touch counts, ROUNDS's healing is scaled to Vampire Survivors's, and levels take more experience.
Playing together: one player, or two on one PC.
Join through the game: a second player plugs a gamepad into the same PC, presses Co-Op & Party Mode in Vampire Survivors's character select and joins with that gamepad, then takes the other guy. There is no online play.
You need Vampire Survivors and ROUNDS on Steam, with ROUNDS on its old-rounds-for-mods beta branch (in Steam: ROUNDS > Properties > Betas). Leave ROUNDS closed when you press Play.
