Terraria inside Minecraft: Java Edition. Its bosses, enemies, weapons, armor and music, read from your own Terraria install. An expanded remix of TerraCraft.
What's new in 0.3.1
Terraria enemies now respect Minecraft's "spawn mobs" game rule: turn mob spawning off and no Zombies, Slimes, Demon Eyes, Skeletons or Eaters of Souls appear.
New in TerraCraft Expanded
Wild Terraria enemies with their real sprites and sounds, spawning naturally:
Green Slime and Blue Slime hop around by day (Blue Slimes also in caves) and drop Gel.
Zombies and Demon Eyes come out at night. Demon Eyes drop Lens, Zombies can drop a Shackle.
Skeletons walk the caves and drop bones.
Eater of Souls hunts fast through the deep caves and can drop Demonite Ore.
Terraria gear you can craft from ordinary Minecraft copper, iron and gold ingots, with Terraria's real stats:
Copper Broadsword, Iron Shortsword, Iron Broadsword and Gold Shortsword.
Iron Pickaxe and Gold Pickaxe.
Copper, Iron and Gold armor sets, with Terraria's defense per piece and the set bonus when you wear all three.
Skips Minecraft's first-run accessibility screen, so you get straight into the game.
From TerraCraft (all still here)
The Guide meets you at spawn with a Copper Shortsword, a Copper Pickaxe and a Slime Crown.
Three bosses with their Terraria attack patterns and their own boss music:
King Slime (Slime Crown, under the open sky): hops and big jumps, teleports to you if you hide, splits off Blue Slimes and shrinks as he loses life.
Eye of Cthulhu (Suspicious Looking Eye, at night): hovers and sends Servants, charges three times, and at half life shows its mouth and charges faster.
Skeletron (Clothier Voodoo Doll, at night): two hands that swipe, a spinning chase, and skulls when you hide. Never fight him in daylight.
Treasure bags: each boss drops a bag with the next tier of Terraria weapons and the next summon. 16 weapons in all: swords, bows, guns, the Enchanted Boomerang, Vilethorn, Demon Scythe, Water Bolt, Aqua Scepter, Book of Skulls and more, with Terraria's mana stars for magic.
Armor: Ninja (King Slime's bag; +20% movement speed), Shadow (Demonite Bars; faster movement) and Necro (bones; +10% ranged crit), with Terraria's defense and per-piece bonuses. Worn armor takes its colors from your Terraria's armor sprites.
Accessories: carry up to 5. Hermes Boots, Cloud in a Bottle (double jump), Band of Regeneration, Lucky Horseshoe, Feral Claws, Shackle and Aglet turn up in dungeon, mineshaft, desert and jungle temple chests. The bosses drop Royal Gel (slimes leave you alone), the Shield of Cthulhu (double tap to dash into enemies) and the Bone Glove (crossbones while you attack).
Materials: Lens from Servants (6 make a Suspicious Looking Eye), Demonite Ore in the Eye's bag (3 make a bar), and Fallen Stars that fall at night (5 make a Mana Crystal: +20 max mana, up to 200).
Boss polish: Terraria's boss head icons on the boss bars, the bosses' death gore, the Eye's afterimage trail when it charges, Skeletron's bone arms, and critical strikes.

Press Play in Melty. The first time, sign in to Prism Launcher with the Microsoft account that owns Minecraft: Java Edition, then create a world.
You need Minecraft: Java Edition and Terraria 1.4.5 or newer. The mod contains no Terraria files: it reads the art, sounds and music from your own Terraria folder while it runs.
