Legendary Tails

Play through Rayman Legends as Tails, using sprites and sounds from your own installed copy of Sonic Mania. His animations follow your running, jumping, flying, rolling, crouching, swimming, attacks and more. Hold jump in the air to keep his flying animation going.

Murfy becomes Ray the Flying Squirrel, Lums become rings, skull coins become big rings, and hearts give Tails a blue shield. Knuckles takes over in the Moskito stages, alongside 63 Sonic Mania sound swaps.

Press F2 or click the right stick (R3) to switch between Tails and Rayman. A welcome message explains F2 after New Game or Continue; it disappears when you first press F2 or after 18 seconds.

Requires the PC versions of Rayman Legends and Sonic Mania installed. Melty sets everything up when you press Play. Game assets are read from your own copies; none are included. This listing is for solo play.

Some rings and big rings may still jitter, and small lighting differences can appear around Tails.
